Our resident documentation specialist is Brenda Huettner, who has been working in the technical publications field for over 20 years. • October 21 - 24, STC Boston Chapter. Wednesday night program meeting, followed by a half-day workshop on Saturday, on "Career Tactics for Technical Communicators"

• May 1 - 4, 2009 STC Annual Summit in Atlanta, GA, as the track manager for "Desiging and Assessing the User Experience"

• October 29 - 31, 2008 DocTrain East in Boston, MA, talking about controlled languages

• October 10 - 11, 2008 Practical Conference on Communication in Chattanooga, TN, talking about project management and accessibility. This is PCOC's 25th anniversary, it should be great!

• September 9, 2008, at Phoenix chapter STC program meeting, talking about project management for technical communicators
